Baltic 175 Ravenger has been successfully re-launched at the yard in Finland. Originally launched in 2017, the new-look Baltic 175 Ravenger has undergone a 9-month refit including upgrades to her rig, sailplan and sailing systems, a complete interior restyle, and some significant enhancements to her already world class levels of onboard comfort.

По чему на яхтах не делают широкую палубу в носовой части для удобства работы с якорем и Генуей . И заливать нос палубы будет меньше при большой боковой волне , из за такого псевдо козырька ? Сами же обводы корпуса останутся прежними .

@@markettrader911 no but I was a trawler man for many years, and have also been a leisure boater for many more, so am very familiar with shipyards
@@gaycha6589 I’m a financial market speculator who shuffles numbers on a screen producing no value (other than the fractional liquidity I provide to the market by risking my capital, still irrelevant) yet I will probably buy a yacht one day.
I have worked on projects from marine to aerospace with great pride knowing I had a hand in building some of the coolest things on and above the planet.

How do these things perform in heavy seas? What happens when the foil hits some object in the water, and is knocked off? Is the keel enough to keep it upright?

Why? Personally I applaud the owner for pushing the boundaries and thereby moving large yacht design forward. Without pioneers like this with deep pockets and ready to take a risk the world would stand still.
A view from the UK. No, this is a serious question. What is this boat used for? It has the look and foils of an Americas cup entrant with a Hilton hotel interior. I can only think you use it for beating up the coastline during the day, then mooring up and impressing fellow inferior boat owners. No good in the Med then. I often wonder what these so called 'experts' base their judgement on. Or have i got it wrong. It's nothing to do with its sailing gender, just how sexy it looks.

With so much negativity and judgment wrapped in your question, it’s apparent you have not considered other points of view. Consider the marriage of aesthetics and engineering. Form and function. The owner and friends of this vessel would have the opportunity to engage in a type of sailing experience available to few humans. What an achievement! (A view from Kentucky, USA)
